I would like to see the expanse of judicial activism to put greater limit on Twitter
Federal Judge James Zagel told the Chicago courtroom at the outset of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s corruption trial that he was prohibiting anyone in the court from using Twitter during the trial or making public statements.
Getting Blagojevich and his family to quiet down would be a big change. Blagojevich has written a memoir and hosted a radio show since his arrest in December 2008. Both he and his wife, Patti, have appeared on reality television shows and both have Twitter accounts. On Monday, Patti Blagojevich tweeted that she had finished the laundry and house cleaning and complained that news helicopters were following her and wasting fuel.
I cannot imagine what he is getting out of this relationship with the media.
